Family Fun Events at Ferndale Library

Friday January 26th 1pm – 4pm AND Monday January 29th 12pm – 3pm.

Looking for something to do on the early release/day off of school? Join us at the Ferndale Library large meeting room for an afternoon of stories and crafts and games. Opportunities to chat with other parents about the levy and what it funds will be woven into this relaxed gathering.  Visit for a short time or stay the whole afternoon – a new activity introduced every 30 minutes. Children of all ages welcome. Parents/caregivers must stay with their child during this event – this is not a drop-off event.

Grocery Outlet – Connecting with Community

We’re looking for some volunteers to join us at Grocery Outlet to talk with community members about the levy. You’ll be stationed at a table inside the store, and have materials to share about what the levy funds and why it is essential for our students.

Sign Waving

Join us at one of these locations to show how much our community supports our schools and this levy.  We’ll have groups out most Wednesdays between 4pm and 5pm, and Saturdays and Sundays between 1pm and 3pm. We’ll also be out the Monday night before ballots are due! You can sign up in advance by clicking the link for the location you would like to join, or just bring your enthusiasm (and a yard sign if you have one) when you can! If you have any questions, please email info@supportferndaleschools.com

You do not have to sign up in advance to attend. We welcome you to join any time slot and location, even if the signup slot is full!

Doorbelling – Networking with Neighbors

Join us as we go out into some neighborhoods and chat with folks about the levy. Our first weekend will be January 27 and 28, with more dates schedule as people are interested. Or once you’ve got the info and flyers you need, feel free to grab a friend and visit folks in your own neighborhood! Sign up here or email info@supportferndaleschools.com for more details.

Not registered to vote in Whatcom County yet? 

February 5th – Online voter registration must be completed/mailed registrations must be RECEIVED by this date

In-person registration can be completed until Election Day at the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office, Election Division.

Kick Off Event

Thursday January 4th @ 6pm – Pioneer Park Pavilion

Join us for the 2024 Levy Campaign Kick Off Event on Thursday January 4th at 6pm at Pioneer Park Pavilion. Appetizer-style dinner and desserts provided – families welcome. Come for a short information session and then mingle and sign up for various volunteer roles.
