The final tally was 58.64% ‘Approved’ — but we needed 60% to pass. So do we walk away from a better future for our children? Do we quit, knowing the condition of the high school is only going to get worse?
If we succeed in approving the bond in February, the children of the Ferndale School District will have a high school that will prepare them for a 21st century economy, and our elementary and middle schools will get millions of dollars of desperately needed facility repairs and upgrades along with safety and security improvements.
The choice is yours. Only you, the voter, can decide what the future holds for Ferndale School District students. Approve this bond request and give our children the educational facilities and opportunities they need to become successful adults.
